I watched “The Soloist” earlier in the week, and I thought I should enlighten. It is a movie about a journalist for the LA Times who meets a homeless, former Juilliard student. It’s based on a true story. The story is quiet interesting and you are able to learn about the homeless system in LA.
The movie is with Robert Downing, Jr and Jamie Foxx. Is it weird that I think Jamie Foxx is great actor? Foxx is able to give a very good representation of schizophrenia. Like one reviewer stated, the movie may have gotten more acclaim if Foxx’s character was the main focus and not Downing’s, but it was interesting to see how Downing’s character changed throughout the movie.
I would rate the movie 3.5/5.
