Worst summer ever?

No, not me. When I get to my bus stop for the return trip, I have seen a 15 year old boy with his mother leaving an office building. They carry lunch bags. At first, I thought the kid was just hanging out at his mom’s office right after school got out until summer programs started out or something. But no, it’s pretty obvious he’s been indoors at his mom’s soul-crushing office job for the past three months. I hope he made copies, filed, and read books all summer, and hopefully got minimum wage too. If you’re going to be cooped up inside that young, there should be some benefit. At least he’ll have some experience so he can get a job next summer when he’s 16.
